v2 = ?
g = 9.8 m /s²
height = 30 m
Applying the equation
v2² -v1² = 2gx
v2² - 8² = 2 × 9.8 × 30
v² = 652 m/s
v =25.53 m /s
So the time is
v2 - v1 / g
t= 25.53 - 8 /9.8
t = 1.788 seconds
