1. Throughout the novel, Rassendyll’s character has changed to the best.
Discuss with examples

A Rassendyll was idle and lazy and wasn't ready to do anything useful.
He thought that responsibilities were the job of someone`s else.
AAfter playing the King's role, he changed his philosophy. He realized that
his position in society had responsibilities. He learned how a country
was rum and became sure that everyone should have a positive role to play
in society.

5- There are good plans and evil plans in the novel. Mention one from each type
Good plans:
Rassendyll's plan to save the King
Rassendyll planned that Johann would open the front door of the mansion at 2 o’clock. Sapt and his men would go in and tie up any servants who did not want to help the King. At the same time, Antoinette de Mauban would cry out for Michael to help her. That would keep Michael busy while Sapt and his men dealt with the servants.
Evil plans:
The Duke's plan to kill Rudolf Rassendyll and the real king;
Mickael sent three of his men to kill Rudolf at the summer house where he went to meet madam de Mauban . Rudolf's body would be found in the old town ,Spat and fritz would be arrested for murdering him at the same time a messenger would be sent to the castle to kill the real king.
Rupert's plan to Rassendyll:
Rupert will help Rassendyll attack the castle. Hentzau will decide the time. But Sapt, Fritz, Michael and the real King must all die. Then Rassendyll will remain King and Hentzau will have a reward.

3- Compare between the characters of both Micheal and the real king. Mention Three Points.
 The Duke was clever but he was unfair, selfish and cunning he wanted to take the crown although it was not his right. His brother was not wise it was Sapt who guided him but he was kind.
 The king preferred eating to action but the Duke was a good fighter.
 The king (Rudolf Elphberg) was only interested in good food and hunting he didn't know how to run a country he didn't care about the people. The Duke had always lived in Ruritania and he cared about the people.

2.More than one mistake has been made by the pretend king. Mention two of them.
Although Rassendyll played the King‘s role perfectly, he made many mistakes unwillingly as he was not the real King, that might have uncovered his identity.
He could not answer the questions asked by the French Ambassador.
He did not let Michael in while he was sitting with the Princess because he
did not know it was his duty.
He spoke about responsibilities passively and this made Princess Flavia
angry.
