Called to the rescue

First scene
( A young man was sleeping in his room nearby a river when something strange happened . He heard a voice calling him to go down to the river at about 12 pm )
The voice : Go down to the ferry. Go down to the ferry
The young man: Ferry? How? After midnight? It only works from Sunrise till sunset
( He went to sleep again )
The voice: Go down to the ferry. The boatman waits!!
The young man: How?! Its midnight now. It's just an imaginary voice.
Wiats!! I can't sleep. Why don't I go to the ferry? Oh, what a foolishness !
The boatman: Come quickly! I have waited nearly an hour for you .
The young man: It seems that the ferryman had received his orders, too.
( After crossing the river, he heard the voice ordering him to go to Exeter )
The young man : How can I go to this town ? It's about 8 or 10 miles from Exmouth.
Second Scene
( It was early. He felt hungry, so he decided to have
his breakfast in the hotel then return to Exmouth in the same train )
The young man : Why are there a lot of people ?
The waiter : I apologize for the delay. They are
waiting for their cases in the law courts.
The young man: Courts !! here?
The waiter: Yes, there are a lot of strange and
interesting cases.
The young man: I'm keen on seeing that! I'll go to the Court to see
.
Third Scene
( In the court )
The Judge : From what the witnesses said, It seemed certain that you killed the person.
The prisoner: It is impossible to do that because
On the day and at the hour when it happened, I was sent to mend a window at Mr. G-`s house at M - .
The Judge: How to prove that ?
The prisoner: There is only one person who can prove I was with him
The Judge: Who is he ? or you are the criminal.
The prisoner: I don't know his address,but there is
A special reason that makes him remember me!!
The young man: ( to himself ) Yes, this is the person I met at Mr. G -`s house.
The young man : ( to the Judge ) I have a number of events . It may clear some facts.
The Judge : Are they very important facts
The young man : Yes sure.
The judge : Well. Say.
The young man : Once , I went to my friend Mr. G. but I didn't find him . I waited him in the library. There was a carpenter mending a window. I talked to him.
The judge : Then?
The young man : I asked that man to give me his pencile to write something in my diary.
The Judge : And then ?
The young man: Luckily, I wrote the date and the time on that paper.
The judge : You saved this innocent man.
The prisoner: Thanks God. Thanks God.
The Judge : The prisoner was found not guilty and set free.
