بالأمس وجدت على منتدانا العظيم فى قسم أولى و ثانية ثانوى خبر يفيد أن مواصفات الامتحان من أولى ابتدائى لأولى ثانوى اتغيرت و هذه مواصفات ثانية اعدادى الجديدة :

A-Language Functions (12 Marks)
1-Finish the following dialogue: (8 marks)
A dialogue with four (4) deletions is provided. The students are asked to fill in the deletions with words, phrases, questions and/or sentences. The situation in which the dialogue takes place is described briefly, but clearly. The first exchange should be in full. (2 marks each)
2-Supply the missing parts in the following two mini-dialogues: (4 marks)
Two (2) mini-dialogues are provided. The situation in each is described briefly, but clearly. In the first the response is deleted. In the second the stimulus is deleted. The students are required to supply the correct language form in each mini-dialogue. (2 marks each)
B-Reading Comprehension (15 Marks)
3-Read and match: (5 marks)
Students are asked to match five (5)parts of sentences, meanings, or questions and answers, based on the material in the Set Books.(5 items in column A and 6 items in column B.) (One mark each)
4-Read the following, then answer the questions: (10 marks)
A text of about eighty (80) words is provided. This can be a short story, a factual text, a timetable or a letter. Most lexical items and all structures in the text should be from the Set Books. The students are required to answer two (2) open-ended questions and three (3) multiple-choice questions with four (4) options each. These questions should test the following reading comprehension skills:
• extracting information • giving the main idea
• understanding reference • guessing the meaning of vocabulary in context
(Two marks for each question)
C-Usage & Writing (15 Marks)
5-Choose the correct answer from a, b, c or d: (8 marks)
Eight (8) multiple-choice items (4 vocabulary & 4 structure) based on the Set Books are provided. The students are asked to choose the correct answer from the four (4) options given. (1 mark each)
7-Read and correct the underlined words: ( 8 marks)
Four (4) sentences, with an underlined en-or in each, are provided. The students are required to correct the error in each sentence. (2 marks each)
8 Look at the picture and write a short paragraph of four (4) sentences: (5 marks)
A clear expressive picture with a title is provided. The students are given some words that
they may use. The first sentence is provided. The students are asked to write a short paragraph of four (4) sentences bearing on the picture.
D Punctuation ( 2 Marks)
9-Punctuate the following two sentences:
Two sentences of not more than ten (10) words each are provided. Each sentence is written without four (4) punctuation marks. The students are asked to punctuate each sentence correctly.
(Half a mark each)
