1 the people كلمة تشير للجمع ولا يمكن ان نجيب بشخص واحد او مفرد (he ) الا اذا كانت معناها شعب وهذا غير مقصود من السؤال
2 لم تري المجموعة سوي شخص واحد فقط اثناء الرحلة وهو الراعي كيف نسأل عنة ب the people
ارجو الرد لمن لدية تعقيب مقنع

السؤال دة موجود فى practice test اللى فى الورك بوك ولو شفت اجابته فى كتاب المعاصر هتلاقيه كدة ولما سالت المس بتاعتى قالتلى هو اعتبرها كدة لان ال shepherd هو البنى ادم الوحيد اللى هم شافوه فى الترم التانى

besides there was a human skull on the same shore which proves that people live on that shore

but other people on the surface of the earth are not strange because they are normal people

from my point of view as a teacher of english I see that the strange people under the earth as he said was much bigger than the people on the earth
and the shephered was A symbol of these people who lived under the earth thousand of years ago
so he said the word people

thank you for your reply
but I ask if the students in the exam can conculde or guess what is behind the text to answer this question
because no exactly text say the answer but only one shepherd
and it is difficult to say what is behind the text
if it so we can say the people are iltalians
( the people from San Vicenzo )
as they are foreigner or strangers

the shepherd and icelanders
ولما سالته ايه الغريب فى الايسلندين
قالى الغريب ان حد ميعرفكيش ويديكى اكل وشرب من غير فلوس وده الغريب فيهم
فالاجابتين صح

2/ the icelanders because they gave them food and drienks and refuesed to take any money
