ومع ترجمة هذا الحديث من مستر جواد عوض

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال :
إذا نسي أحدكم فأكل أو شرب فليتم صومه فإنما أطعمه الله وسقاه
(متفق عليه)

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said,
"If any one of you forgetfully eats or drinks (while observing fasting) he should complete his Saum (fasting), for Allah has fed him and given him to drink.
Al-Bukhari and Muslim


Commentary -- تعليق



This Hadith tells us of a kindness and convenience of Islam that during the Saum if a person inadvertently does any such thing which destroys his Saum, i.e., eating, drinking, cohabitation with wife, etc., his Saum will remain intact due to forgetfulness, provided one abandons the act as soon as he remembers that he is observing Saum . He needs not make any expiation for such a Saum.

ومع ترجمة هذا الحديث من مستر جواد عوض

عن عبد الله بن عمرو رضي الله عنهما قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: (يقال لصاحب القران اقرأ وارتق ورتل كما كنت ترتل في الدنيا فإن منزلتك عند آخر آية تقرؤها). (صحيح الجامع8122)
القرآن يقدم صاحبه عند الدفن

حديث جابر رضي الله عنه كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يجمع بين الرجلين من قتلى أحد في ثوب واحد ثم يقول : أيهم أكثر أخذاً للقرآن؟ فإذا أشير إلى أحدهما قدمه في اللحد. (صحيح البخاري)
نزول الملائكة والسكينة والرحمة للقرآن وأهله

حديث أبى هريرة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال (ما اجتمع قوم في بيت من بيوت الله يتلون كتاب الله ويتدارسونه فيما بينهم إلا نزلت عليهم السكينة وغشيتهم الرحمة وحفتهم الملائكة وذكرهم الله فيمن عنده). (صحيح مسلم)
مضاعفة ثواب قراءة الحرف الواحد من القرآن أضعافاً كثيرة

حديث عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم (من قرأ حرفاً من كتاب الله فله به حسنة ، والحسنة بعشر أمثالها لا أقول (الم) حرف ولكن : ألف حرف ولام حرف ، وميم حرف). (صحيح الجامع 6469)

إكرام حامل القرآن من إجلال الله تعالى

عن أبى موسى الأشعري رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ( إن من إجلال الله إكرام ذي الشيبة المسلم وحامل القرآن غير الغالي فيه والجافي عنه وإكرام ذي السلطان المقسط ) . (حسن) (صحيح الجامع 2199)

صاحب القرآن يلبس حلة الكرامة وتاج الكرامة

حديث أبى هريرة رضي الله عنه : عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : ( يجيء صاحب القرآن يوم القيامة ، فيقول : يا رب حله ، فيلبس تاج الكرامة . ثم يقول : يا رب زده فيلبس حلة الكرامة ، ثم يقول : يا رب ارض عنه ، فيقال اقرأ وارق ويزاد بكل آية حسنة ) .(حسن) (صحيح الجامع8030)

القرآن يرفع صاحبه

قال عمر رضي الله عنه : أما إن نبيكم صلى الله عليه وسلم قد قال : ( إن الله يرفع بهذا الكتاب أقواماً ويضع به آخرين ) . (صحيح مسلم)
(يرفع بهذا الكتاب): أي بقراءته والعمل به (ويضع به) : أي بالإعراض عنه وترك العمل بمقتضاه.

خيركم من تعلم القرآن وعلمه

حديث عثمان رضي الله عنه : عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: (خيركم من تعلم القرآن وعلمه). (صحيح البخاري)
وصية النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالقرآن

قال طلحة بن مصرف : سألت عبد الله بن أبي أوفى رضي الله عنهما : هل كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أوصى ؟ فقال : لا . فقلت : كيف كتب على الناس الوصية أو أمروا بالوصية ؟ قال : ( أوصى بكتاب الله) . (صحيح البخاري)
قال الحافظ : قوله ( كيف كتب على الناس الوصية ) أو كيف ( أمروا بالوصية ) أي كيف يؤمر المسلمون بشيء ولا يفعله النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم.

دعاء النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم لتلاء القرآن بالرحمة

حديث ابن عباس رضي الله عنهما : أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم دخل قبراً ليلاً . فأسرج له سراج فأخذه من قبل القبلة وقال : ( رحمك الله إن كنت لأواهاً تلاء للقرآن ) وكبر عليه أربعاً. (قال الترمذي : حديث حسن)
فضل حافظ القرآن

حديث أبي موسى الأشعري رضي الله عنه قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم (مثل المؤمن الذي يقرأ القرآن كمثل الأترجة ، ريحها طيب وطعمها طيب . ومثل المؤمن الذي لا يقرأ القرآن كمثل التمرة ، لا ريح لها وطعمها حلو . ومثل المنافق الذي يقرأ القرآن مثل الريحانة ، ريحها طيب وطعمها مر ، ومثل المنافق الذي لا يقرأ القرآن كمثل الحنظلة ، ليس لها ريح وطعمها مر). (البخاري ومسلم)

فضل الماهر بالقرآن والذي يتتعتع فيه

حديث عائشة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال : (مثل الذي يقرأ القرآن وهو حافظ له مع السفرة الكرام ، ومثل الذي يقرأ وهو يتعاهده ، وهو عليه شديد فله أجران) . (البخاري ومسلم)
أذِن الله تعالى لمن يتغنى بالقرآن

حديث أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه أنه كان يقول : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم (ما أذِن الله لشيء ما أذن لنبي يتغنى بالقرآن). (البخاري ومسلم)
غبطة صاحب القرآن

عن ابن عمر رضى الله عنهما قال : قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : ( لا حسد إلا في اثنتين : رجل آتاه الله القرآن فهو يتلوه آناء الليل وآناء النهار ورجل آتاه الله مالاً فهو ينفقه آناء الليل وآناء النهار ).(البخاري ومسلم)
حفظ القرآن خير من متاع الدنيا

عن عقبة بن عامر الجهني قال : خرج علينا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ونحن في الصفة فقال : ( أيكم يحب أن يغدو إلى بطحان والعقيق فيأخذ ناقتين كوماوين زهراوين بغير إثم بالله ولاقطع (قطيعة) رحم ؟ ) قالوا : كلنا يا رسول الله ، قال : (فلئن يغدو أحدكم كل يوم إلى المسجد فيتعلم آيتين من كتاب الله خيرا له من ناقتين وإن ثلاث فثلاث مثل أعدادهن من الإبل). رواه مسلم
فضائل متنوعة

عن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : ( إذا قرأ ابن آدم السجدة فسجد اعتزل الشيطان يبكي يقول : يا ويله ) وفي رواية (ياويلى) (أمر ابن آدم بالسجود فسجد فله الجنة وأمرت بالسجود فأبيت فلي النار). (صحيح مسلم)
الله تعالى يباهى بالمجتمعين على القرآن الملائكة

عن معاوية رضى الله عنه : أن الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم خرج على حلقة من أصحابه فقال : ( ما يجلسكم ؟ ) فقالوا : جلسنا نذكر الله تعالى ونحمده على ما هدانا الإسلام ، و من علينا به . فقال : (أتاني جبريل صلى الله عليه وسلم فأخبرني أن الله تعالى يباهي بكم الملائكة). (صحيح مسلم)
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: يا عليّ إنها ستكون فتنة، فقلت: وما المخرج منها يا رسول الله؟... قال: كتاب الله عز وجل، فيه نبأ ما قبلكم وفصل ما بينكم وخبر ما بعدكم، وهو الفصل ليس بالهزل، من تركه من جبار قصمه الله ، ومن ابتغى الهدى في غيره أضله الله، وهو حبل الله المتين وهو الذكر الحكيم وهو الصراط المستقيم وهو الذي لا تلتبس به الألسن ولا تزيغ به الأهواء ولا يخلق عن كثرة الرد، ولا يشبع منه العلماء ولا تنقضي عجائبه ، وهو الذي لم يتناه الجن إذ سمعته أن قالوا: { إنا سمعنا قرآنا عجبا } من قال به صدق، ومن حكم به عدل، ومن اعتصم به فقد هدي إلى صراط مستقيم.
يؤتى بالقرآن يوم القيامة وأهله الذين كانوا يعملون به. تقدمه سورة البقرة وآل عمران وضرب لهما رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ثلاثة أمثال. ما نسيتهن بعد. قال كأنهما غمامتان أو ظلتان سوداوان. بينهما شرق. أو كأنهما حزقان من طير صواف. تحاجان عن صاحبهما.
إن الرجل الذي ليس في جوفه شيء من القرآن كالبيت الخرب.
الذي يقرأ القرآن وهو ماهر به مع السفرة الكرام البررة والذي يقرؤه وهو يشتد عليه فله أجران
إن القرآن يلقى صاحبه يوم القيامة حين ينشق عنه قبره كالرجل الشاحب يقول: هل تعرفني؟ فيقول له: ما أعرفك، فيقول: أنا صاحبك القرآن، الذي أظمأتك في الهواجر، وأسهرت ليلك، وإن كل تاجر من وراء تجارته، وإنك اليوم من وراء كل [تجارة]، قال: فيعطى الملك بيمينه، والخلد بشماله، ويوضع على رأسه تاج الوقار، ويكسى والداه حلتين، لا يقوم لهما أهل الدنيا، فيقولان: بم كسينا هذا؟ فيقال: يأخذ ولدكما القرآن، ثم يقال: اقرأ واصعد في [درج] الجنة وغرفها، فهو في صعود ما دام (يقرأ) هذا كان أو ترتيلا
أن النبي «صلى الله عليه وسلم» قال «إن الله تعالى يرفع بهذا الكلام أقواما ويضع به آخرين» رواه مسلم
يقول الله سبحانه وتعالى: ( من شغله القرآن وذكري عن مسألتي أعطيته أفضل ما أعطي السائلين وفضل كلام الله سبحانه وتعالى عن سائر الكلام كفضل الله تعالى على خلقه) رواه الترمذي
أن رسول الله قال من قرأ القرآن وعمل بما فيه ألبس الله والديه تاجا يوم القيامة ضوؤه أحسن من ضوء الشمس في بيوت الدنيا فما ظنكم بالذي عمل بهذا)رواه أو داود
عن النبي قال اقرؤوا القرآن فإن الله تعالى لا يعذب قلبا وعي القرآن وإن هذا القرآن مأدبة الله فمن دخل فيه فهو آمن ومن أحب القرآن فليبشر

1. When waking up
(1)
الحَمْدُ لِلّهِ الّذي أَحْيانا بَعْدَ ما أَماتَنا وَإليه النُّشور.
Alhamdu lillahil-lathee ahyana baAAda ma amatana wa-ilayhin-nushoor.
‘All praise is for Allah who gave us life after having taken it from us and unto Him is the resurrection.’


(2)
The Prophet said : ‘Whoever awakes at night and then says:
لا إلهَ إلاّ اللّهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ له، لهُ المُلكُ ولهُ الحَمد، وهوَ على كلّ شيءٍ قدير، سُبْحانَ اللهِ، والحمْدُ لله ، ولا إلهَ إلاّ اللهُ واللهُ أكبَر، وَلا حَولَ وَلا قوّة إلاّ باللّهِ العليّ العظيم.
La ilaha illal-lahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, lahul-mulku walahul-hamd, wahuwa AAala kulli shay-in qadeer, subhanal-lah, walhamdu lillah, wala ilaha illal-lah wallahu akbar, wala hawla wala quwwata illa billahil-AAaliyyil AAatheem.
‘None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without associate, to Him belongs sovereignty and praise and He is over all things wholly capable. How perfect Allah is, and all praise is for Allah, and none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, Allah is the greatest and there is no power nor might except with Allah, The Most High, The Supreme.
…and then supplicates:
رَبِّ اغْفرْ لي.
Rabbigh-fir lee
‘O my Lord forgive me.’
…will be forgiven’
Al-Waleed said, “or hesaid:
‘and then asks, he will be answered.If he then performs ablution and prays, his prayer will be accepted’.”

الحمدُ للهِ الذي عافاني في جَسَدي وَرَدّ عَليّ روحي وَأَذِنَ لي بِذِكْرِه .
Alhamdu lillahil-lathee AAafanee fee jasadee waradda AAalayya roohee wa-athina lee bithikrih.
‘All praise is for Allah who restored to me my health and returned my soul and has allowed me to remember Him.’

واخْتِلافِ …إِنّ فِي خَلْقِ السّمَوَ اتِ وَالأرْضِ اللّيلِ والنّهارِ لآياتٍ لأُولي الألباب
( آل عمران 190-200)
Inna fee wa-alnnahari la-ayatin khalqi alssamawati waal-ardi wa-ikhtilafi allayli li-olee al-albab…
(From Verse 3:190 till the end of the chapter Ali AAimran)


2. Supplication when wearing a garment
(5)
الحمدُ للهِ الّذي كَساني هذا (الثّوب) وَرَزَقَنيه مِنْ غَيْرِ حَولٍ مِنّي وَلا قوّة .
Alhamdu lillahil-lathee kasanee hatha (aththawb) warazaqaneehi min ghayri hawlin minnee wala quwwah.
‘All Praise is for Allah who has clothed me with this garment and provided it for me, with no power nor might from myself.’


3. Supplication said when wearing a new garment

اللّهُمَّ لَكَ الحَمْدُ أنْتَ كَسَوْتَنيهِ، أََسْأََلُكَ مِنْ خَيرِهِ وَخَيْرِ مَا صُنِعَ لَه، وَأَعوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّهِ وَشَرِّ ما صُنِعَ لَهُ.
Allahumma lakal-hamdu anta kasawtaneeh, as-aluka min khayrihi wakhayri ma suniAAa lah, wa-aAAoothu bika min sharrihi washarri ma suniAAa lah.
‘O Allah, for You is all praise, You have clothed me with it (i.e. the garment), I ask You for the good of it and the good for which it was made, and I seek refuge with You from the evil of it and the evil for which it was made.’


4. Supplication said to someone wearing a new garment
(7)
تُبْلي وَيُخْلِفُ اللهُ تَعَالى .
Tublee wayukhliful-lahu taAAala.
‘May you wear it out and Allah تعالى replace it (with another).’ The intended meaning: A supplication for long life. “


(8)
اِلبَس جَديداً وَعِشْ حَميداً وَمُتْ شهيداً
Ilbas jadeedan waAAish hameedan wamut shaheedan.
‘Wear anew, live commendably and die a shaheed.’
shaheed:One who dies fighting the kuffar in order to make the word of Allah superior or in defense of Islam. It also has other meanings found in the Sunnah such as: the one who dies defending his life, wealth or family; the woman who passes away due to childbirth; one who drowns…etc.


5. Before undressing

بِسْمِ الله .
Bismil-lah
‘In the **** of Allah.’


6. Before entering the toilet
(10)
(بِسْمِ الله ) اللّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَعوذُ بِكَ مِنَ الْخُبْثِ وَالْخَبائِث .
(Bismil-lah) allahumma innee aAAoothu bika minal-khubthi wal-khaba-ith
‘(In the **** of Allah). O Allah, I take refuge with you from all evil and evil-doers.’


7. After leaving the toilet
(11)
غُفْرانَك .
Ghufranak
‘I ask You (Allah) for forgiveness.’


8. When starting ablution
(12)
بِسْمِ الله .
Bismil-lah
‘In the **** of Allah.’


9. Upon completing the ablution
(13)
أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلَهَ إِلاّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لا شَريكَ لَهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسولُه.
Ashhadu an la ilaha illal-lahu wahdahu la shareeka lah, wa-ashhadu anna Muhammadan AAabduhu warasooluh.
‘I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger.’


(14 )
اللّهُمَّ اجْعَلني مِنَ التَّوّابينَ وَاجْعَلْني مِنَ المتَطَهّرين.
Allahummaj-AAalnee minat-tawwabeena wajAAalnee minal-mutatahhireen.
‘O Allah, make me of those who return to You often in repentance and make me of those who remain clean and pure.’


(15 )
سُبْحانَكَ اللّهُمَّ وَبِحَمدِك أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لا إِلهَ إِلاّ أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتوبُ إِلَيْك .
Subhanakal-lahumma wabihamdika ashhadu an la ilaha illa anta astaghfiruka wa-atoobu ilayk.
‘How perfect You are O Allah, and I praise You, I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except You, I seek Your forgiveness and turn in repentance to You.’


10. When leaving the home
(16)
بِسْمِ اللهِ ، تَوَكَّلْتُ عَلى اللهِ وَلا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلاّ بِالله .
Bismil-lah, tawakkaltu AAalal-lah, wala hawla wala quwwata illa billah.
‘In the **** of Allah, I place my trust in Allah, and there is no might nor power except with Allah
