subtract and keep greater sign
What is the rule for adding integers with the same sign?
keep the sign answer and add.
What is the rule for adding/subtracting decimals?
line up the decimals vertically
What is the rule for adding/subtracting fractions?
must have common denominator, new numerator, then whole number stays, then add/subtract numerator and deniminator then reduce
What is the rule for changing numbers from scientific notation to standard form?
+exponent then decimal move right, then add greater number, then rewrite number AND -exponent then decimal move left, then add greater number, then rewrite number
What is the rule for changing numbers from standard form to scientific notation?
write _.__*10, then fill in the first digit that is not 0 then copy the rest of the digits to the right of the decimal, then ask, do i need to multiply by a number greater than 1 or less than 1, then ask how many places does the decimal have to move?, write that number as the exponent.
What is the rule for comparing/ordering fractions, decimals, and percents?
Change all to decimals. Then order number
What is the rule for converting measurements?
set up a proportion, copy the numerators from the problem, find a fact on map 18 and copy to denominators, cross multiply
What is the rule for dividing decimals?
Eliminate divide then decimal move right same time, then REDUCE
What is the rule for dividing fractions?
change to improper fractions, then flip the 2nd fraction, multiply, reduce
What is the rule for multiplying decimals?
count the total number of decimal places and move the decimal in the answer that number of places

ADD the OPPOSITE change to an addition problem. Then change the sign of the SECOND number)

1)copy the formula 2)substitute 3)solve 4)label

* الجزء الاول نظرى : وبيكون امتحان لمدة 3 ساعات فى ال math بتاع كل المراحل
ابتدائى واعدادى وثانوى وفيه كمان ترجمة من عربى لنجليزى والعكس
ولكن كلة من المنهج وسهلة ان شاء الله وكمان نموزج اعداد درس
* الجزء الثانى نظرى وبتتكلم مع الموجهين بالانجليش وساعات بيسألوك وممكن ثشرح درس
وبيجمعو درجة الامتحانين وتبقى هى دى درجتك
