Two cars are moving in the same direction in parallel lanes along a highway. At some instant, the velocity of car A exceeds the velocity of car B. Does this mean that the acceleration of A is greater than that of B? Explain.

yes acceleration of A is greater than of B bec.. acceleration = Velocity/Time and when the velocity increases the Acceleration increases

Here is the answer: wrong this doesn't mean the acceleration of A is greater then that of B,Why? cause we're talking here about instantenous velocity.
and it's resonable to say at some instant the velocity of one is greater then the another one, then by the time we may notice the velocity of the another car exceeds the velocity of the first car.
Did you get it?
