Samir has two sisters;………of them are older than him
( neither - none - both - each)
فرد قائلا وهذه كتابته نسختها
Only 'both' fits the plural verb 'are'. These are correct:
Both are older.
Neither is older.
Each is older.

None is older. Actually, 'none are' is also possible in real English, but 'none' refers to more than 2 things. For 2 things only, we use 'neither'.

ثم استكملت الحوار وقلت له

I've just read on the net these words:

After neither of... a singular or a plural verb is possible:

• Neither of the children wants ( or want) to go to bed.

فأجاب قائلا

Not in grammar tests. Singular only. Native speakers are liable to say many things that formal grammar does not permit.

اما بخصوص الجملة رقم 3

choose

Mona promised that she...............home tomorrow.

(be - would have been - will have been - will be)


قلت له
The examiner answered it (will be)
ثم قلت له
my answer isn't between the brackets.

My answer is (would be)
فأجاب قائلا
Yes, 'would be' is the best choice. Since that is not offered, however, 'will be' is right.

الجمله الاختياريه الاصح فيها الاختيار will be لانها ليست جمله فى الغير مباشر فاذا كانت فى الغيى مباشر كان الاولى ان تحول tomorrow الى the following day وفى هذه الحاله نختار would be
