Chapter 1
The Egyptian Desert الصحراء المصرية
A. Main points
1-A team of 6 archaeologists discovered some ancient treasures in the desert .
2-A band of 4 robbers planned to rob the treasures.
3-They climbed down long underground passage.
4-They used a machine called GPR and managed to discover an untouched room full of treasures.

The oldest man didn't worry about the spiders' bites because he thought that mere weren’t any deadly spiders in Egypt and that they might get sick, but they wouldn't die.
11-How did the four robbers meet their end ?
The sickness and pain from me spiders' bites increased. They could not breathe easily and died.
12-Do you think these spiders area known species? Say why or why not.
I think that these spiders are not a known species because the robbers thought that there were not any deadly spiders in Egypt and the spiders killed them.
13-How was the robbers' accident discovered ?
The robbers' accident was discovered when three passengers on a helicopter they saw the cars and examined the four men who were all dead. The pilot reported the police.
14- "We'd better get on the radio." Those words saved the pilot's life. Explain.
But for the engineer's words, the pilot would have lost his life because the pilot's hands moved nearer the spiders which were ready to attack him. But he left the car and went back to the helicopter to report the police by radio .
15-What happened to the spiders in the boxes ?
The small spiders in the ears died because of the heat of the sun but the biggest spider survived.
16-In the pilot's opinion , what killed the four robbers ?
The pilot thought that the four men probably got lost in the desert and died of thirst.
