1. Laila travelled to Cuzco to join Dr Hafez on his excavation work
which was a part of a UNESCO exchange programme to find a tomb of one of the Cimu kings.
2. Dr Hafez was a well known archaeologist and the leader of the excavation team at Cuzco a UNESCO archaeological project. He was also a friend of Leila's family.
3. Both the Incas and the Ancient Egyptians……….
a. ….. put gold and silver objects besides their kings.
b…… dressed them in beautiful clothes .
c…… put gold masks on their faces .
d. …...put figures of animals in their tombs.
e. …...put food and drinks in their tombs.

The differences :
a. Every year at important festivals, the mummified kings were put on litters and taken through the streets.
