you are talking here about something in general " that he is agood player not this year particularly so the answer is will.
but study this example "he studies hard this year, i think he is going to pass his exams."

اتفق معك انه تنبؤ قائم على دليل ولكن الجملة تحتمل التوقع ولذلك ارى انها تحتمل الاجابتين

Both are correct English but according to the Egyptian genius style will is better as he is a student , there must be an exam ,he might not attend
the exam for example


You know what the problem is : they laugh a lot when we talk about such things here in America .....these are just Egyptian superstitions for private lessons .... here te most important is communication skills and usind the appropriate tense .
