We see thousands of advertisements every day - in the street, on TV. in
supermarkets, and In newspapers and magazines. Every week millions of dollars are spent promoting products in advertisements. And if you think customers aren't influenced by advertisements (even ones they dislike), you're wrong! Advertisements aren't necessarily successful if they are , liked - they're successful if they are remembered. People often remember a product which is advertised using famous people. When we see a T-shirt
worn by a sports star, we imagine that we may also be successful with the same T-shirt. Companies always want new ways to advertise their goods have you ever seen a "pop-up" ad, one that suddenly appears on your screen while you are logged on to the internet? If you are visiting a football site, you may receive a small pop-up advertisement for football shirts. Pop-ups can be very annoying and very hard to stop. But it does not matter if we like the advertisements or not: more advertisements mean more money.
