4.Compare between the characters of both Micheal and the real king.
Mention three points.
Michael was so promising that many people especially the poor wanted him
to be their King.]
On the contrary Michael had a lot of defects
He was unfair as he wanted to be a king although it was not his right.
To-achieve his goal, he tried to poison his half-brother so as not to attend the coronation in order to be crowned instead of him.
He kidnapped the King with the intention of killing him.
AHe was greedy, selfish, cunning, cruel, wicked and bloody.
His evil intentions :
The Duke some evil intentions to kill Rassendyll at the summer house.
If Rassendyll had been killed at the summer house, Michael would have killed the real King and become King.
In fact, he couldn’t be a king unless he married Princess Flavia as his mother was not royal.
His severe reactions :
When he discovered that Antoinette had helped Rassendyll at the summer house:
He invited her and her servants to his mansion and kept them prisoners there. He didn't allow them to leave again.
A cunning man :
Duke Michael was a cunning man.
Michael was a very cunning and evil man. He wanted to kill his brother to take the crown, so he held him a prisoner in the castle. When Rassendyll took the place of the King, he planned to kill him and take his body to the old town where it would be found and Fritz and Sapt would be arrested for murdering Rassendyll.
He held Antoinette a prisoner in the mansion to stop her from helping Rassendyll.
He made a clever plan to defend the castle if it was attacked.

-----Rudolf is the future king of Ruritania. He's not respected by many of his people as he's been abroad for most of his life and not many people know what he looks like.
He is the king of Ruritania. He loves eating and hunting.
He's carefree and humorous
He laughs loudly and easily.
He's kidnapped and imprisonedby his brother, Duke Michael.
He was saved by Rudolf Rassendyll and regained his throne.
He became a more responsible King after all hardships.
He was grateful to Rassendyll:
The King was grateful to Rassendyll and thanked him because he saved his life and taught him what a true King should be. Rassendyll ran the country well while the real King was held a prisoner. Rassendyll also helped to stop the people thinking badly about the King.
No brotherly relationship:
There was a false brotherhood between the King and the Duke. They couldn't be friends because they did not love one another and there was always struggle between them.
Instead of helping each other, Michael wanted to get rid of his brother
by poisoning him to get the crown and the throne.
There was a great difference between them as Michael was cunning, greedy, unfair and bloody whereas his half-brother 'the King ' was kind.

He is not admirable:
To tell the truth, the real King is not admirable and side with poor
people in their opinion about him for many reasons:
He lived for himself only so he was selfish.
He preferred eating to action and was not a good lighter.
He cared only for his likes and interests and forgot that he was
for the whole country.
He was naïve so he didn't understand what was going on around him
He had been abroad for most of his life so many people did not even
what he looked like.
He did not know how to run a country and it was Sapt who guided him
and gave him all the instructions.
Although he was kind he was a weak King.
