&Euml; With it you can see, small flowers, remember holidays, feel pain, hear your favorite singer's voice and think.
&Euml; It weighs يزن a kilo. It has about a hundred billion cells.

First conditional : الحالة الشرطية الأولى

ملحوظة هامة:
عند ربط جملتين تعبر عن حدث مستقبلي باستخدام (If) نستخدم الحالة الأولى.

Second conditional: الحالة الشرطية الثانية

If + past simple would / could / might + inf.

Use second conditional sentences to describe actions which will probably not happen.
1) تستخدم الحالة الشرطية الثانية لوصف أحداث ليس من المحتمل حدوثها.
&Euml; If Mai arrived late, she would miss the train.
&Euml; If I had free time, I'd go for a picnic.
&Euml; If I were rich, I'd help the poor.
&Euml; I'd ring him if I found his phone number.
2) تستخدم الحالة الشرطية الثانية لإعطاء النصيحة:
&Euml; If I were you, I'd study hard to get high score. =
&Euml; You should study hard to get high score.
ملحوظة هامة:
عند ربط جملتين تعبر عن حدث غير محتمل حدوثه في المستقبل / نستخدم الحالة الثانية.
* It possible that he won't catch the morning train because
he does not get up early. (If)
- If he got up early , he'd catch the morning train.
تذكر :

1- أن الحالة الثانية تعبر عن افتراض (عكس الواقع الحالي)
* If I were a doctor, I'd help you.
(I'm not a doctor, so I can't help you)
* If I were not tired, I'd visit my uncle.
(I can't visit you because I'm tired.)
* If I had enough memory, I'd lend you some.
(I don't have enough money, so I can't lend you some)

2- استخدام unless بدلاً من (if + not) .
* If she does not play well, we'll be angry. =
Unless she plays well, we'll be angry.
* If they did not arrive in time, they wouldn't be admitted =
Unless they arrived in time, they wouldn't be admitted.

3- استخدام (in case of + ing / N) بمعنى If.
* If he feels tired, he'll stay at home. (In case of)
In case of feeling tired, he'll stay at home.

4- استخدام (Without + ing / n) بمعنى unless :
* Unless she had enough time, she wouldn't go to the club.
Without having enough time, she wouldn't go to the club.

ملحوظة:
لاحظ التحويلات الآتية عند الربط بين الجمل باستخدام (If):
1- استخدام الحالة الأولى عند وجود حدثين في المستقبل.
A- It's possible it will rain, if so, I'll give you a lift.
If it rains, I'll give you a lift.
B- Perhaps he will come tomorrow. In that case, I'll phone you.
If he comes tomorrow, I will phone you.
2- استخدام الحالة الثانية مع المضارع البسيط المنفي.
c- I can't lend you my camera as it doesn't work well.
If my camera worked well, I could lend you it.
3- تحويل النفي إلى إثبات و الإثبات إلى نفي.
4- حذف أدوات الربط therefore / so / that's why ) لذلك) .
حذف (as / because) وتأتي الجملة التي بعدها بعد (If).

&Euml; Pete : my name's Pete. I'm British but I've lived in
Australia since 1998. I live with my wife, Chris, and our two children. Nathan and Katy. I teach biology at Perth university. My wife teaches English. Nathan is in his last year at school, and our daughter, Katy, is at university studying medicine. She's been there for two years, so she will finish in three years. We're a very sporty family-I play squash three times a week, and we all like sailing. In our free time, Chris and I work for charity. We take children with disabilities on trips at the weekends.
&Euml; Rana: Hi, I'm Rana. I'm from Cairo and I'm studying
Chinese at the university here. I've just finished
my first year. My brother, Mohamed, is also at
the university here. He's doing architecture.
When he is older, he would like to design a
new government building in Cairo. We have
tow sisters, Heba and Nema, who are both in
the third year at secondary school. After I
graduate, I want to work as an interpreter. If I
can't do that, I'd like to work in television-
perhaps on a news programme. I'm very busy at
the moment, but when I have some free time, I
spend it at home with my family.
&Euml; Stefan: I'm Stefan. I'm sixteen. I'm Italian and I'm a
student. I live with my family in a small town

Italian grandparents live with us. They're very old, so
we all have to help them. I read the newspaper to my

&Euml; Lili : My name is Lili. I'm fifteen years old and I live in
the capital of China, Beijing. I'm at school, so I still
live with my parents in an apartment in Beijing. I
don't have any brother or sisters. There are many
small families in China. My father is a doctor and
my mother doesn't work. My first language is
Mandarin, which is the most common language in
the world, with nearly a billion speakers. I really
love sports. Table tennis is my favorite game, but I
also play basketball I've never traveled outside
china, but I have seen a giant panda in the

P In 2001, Abu-Heif, one of the best Egyptian swimmers and athletes, won a prize as the best swimmer of the 20th century.

How to avoid illness


Cleanliness is extremely important in protecting us from infections Hygiene (your own cleanliness) and sanitation (public cleanliness) are both important.
Many infections of the stomach pass from one person to another because of bad sanitation and hygiene. If a child has dirty hands, they will be covered with millions of germs which we cannot see. If that child gives sweets to another child, some of those germs will be passed to the other child. When this child eats the sweet, he or she will eat some of the germs and may become ill. The child's mother may say that it is because her child ate the sweet, but it is really because her child ate the other child's germs.

These are some of the rules of hygiene. You should always wash your hands before a meal. You should bathe more often in hot weather or when you have been running or been to the gym.
You should also be very careful about the food you eat and the water you drink. Make sure that flies and other insects do not land on your food. Insects eat dirt and there are germs in dirt. If insects land on your food, they may pass their germs on to you. You must not leave pieces of food or dirty dishes lying around, because they will attract flies. You can protect food from files and germs by covering it. You should always boil tap water before you drink it.
Finally, you must never eat food that smells bad because it may be poisonous. Do not eat food from a tin if the is damaged; the food will probably be bad.

What is the paragraph ?

البراجراف : هو عبارة عن مجموعة من الجمل تدور حول نقطة واحدة أساسية أو محورية وغالبا ما توضع هذه النقطة الاساسية فى جملة تكون قريبة من بداية البراجراف و تسمى بالجملة الاساسية ( topic sentence )
ثم يبدأ الطالب فى شرح وتوضيح هذه الجملة فى بقية البراجراف وهو عبارة عن تفصيل ما تم إجماله فى الجملة المحورية كـــ :
1- ذكـــــر الـمـزايــــــــا أو الـعـيــــــــوب0
2- عــقــــــــــــــــد الــمــقارنــــــــــــــــة0
3- الاسباب و النتائج و الحلول المقترحة0
4- دور الافــــــــــراد والــحــكــومـــــــــة0
5- ثم ختام ذلك بخاتمة توجز ما تم شرحه فى شكل خلاصة أو نصيحة أو تحذير0




تعليمات هامة ينبغى إتباعها عند كتابة الفقرة الانشائية :

1- ينبغى أن تكون بداية ونهاية الموضوع مكتوبة بشكل يجذب انتباه القارىْ0
2- ترتيب الجمل منطقيا بحيث تؤدى الجملة إلى الثانية وهكذا0
3- وحدة الافكار كى تعبر عن الموضوع الذى تكتب عنه بشكل مترابط0
4- استخدم الجمل القصيرة والبسيطة0
5- تدوين الافكار قبل البداية0
6- لابد من تحديد طبيعة الازمنة حسب نوع الموضوع , فإذا تناول الموضوع
مشكلة عامة مثل البطالة , أو التلوث , أو إرتفاع الاسعارفإن الزمن المستخدم
غالبا ما يكون المضارع البسيط وأحيانا المضارع التام ؛وكذلك الحال لو كان
الموضوع مناقشة لموضوع هام مثل تكنولوجيا المعلومات , أو القراءة , أو
الكمبيوتر , أو دور الشباب0 وإذا تناول مثلا تجربة شخصية كحادثة أو رحلة
فيكون الزمن ماضيا0 وإذا تناول الموضوع ما يتمناه الشخص أن يصبح فى
المستقبل نستخدم زمن المستقبل0
7- مراعاة البناء اللغوى السليم للجملة بأن تبدأ الجملة بالفاعل ثم الفعل ثم المفعول
8- مراعاة الاستخدام الصحيح لعلامات الترقيم 0
9- أن تترك مسافة تعادل خمسة حروف فى السطر الاول فقط من الموضوع0
10- اجتهد فى تحسين الخط وذلك بترك مسافة بين كل كلمة وأخرى فهذا يعطى
انطباعا جيدا للمصحح ويسهل عليه فهم ما تريد التعبير عنه0

جمل وتعبيرات تصلح لموضوعات نـافـعــة

1- نضع فى الفراغ الموجود فى هذه التعبيرات كلمة أو عبارة تمثل الموضوع0
2- ليس شرطا أن يبدأ الطالب الموضوع بمقدمة من هذه ولكن يمكن أن يبدأ
بجملة topic من عنده حسب الموضوع المطلــوب0

1- Life in the future

Life in the future will be more easier and comfortable than our life today. Every family will own its high-tech home. The sun will provide us with the energy we need. Every home will have two or three computers and everyone will talk to their friends on the internet. Our cities will be cleaner and quieter. I think we will travel more as planes will be faster and cheaper. Perhaps planes will fly to the moon.



2- Friends

Friends are either good or bad. Some of them are worthy of respect while others are hateful ones. Personally, I like helpful friends who are ready to stand by me in time of troubles, and share my joy and sorrow. Moreover, man has no choice in making friends, but he should be careful when befriends anyone. He must test him in some situations before he reveals any of his secrets. Among friends I feel warmth and brotherhood. To sum up, a friend in need is a friend indeed.

3- The value of Reading

Reading is fun. It's the food of the mind. With reading we never feel lonely. Through reading, we gain the experience of others. It provides us with information in all branches of knowledge, in Science, in Technology, in Arts …..etc. Reading has a good effect on our behaviour, it helps us to be good citizens. Moreover, Reading helps us to develop our characters, and enables us to understand the world we live in. To sum up, reading enlightens man and makes him aware of modern changes that occur around him.









4- Pollution

Pollution is one of the most serious problems in the world. Air and water pollution are bad for both people and environment. Harmful fumes, chemicals and waste cause pollution. Pollution levels are dangerously high in most countries. Air and water are dirty and dangerous. Means of transport, factories and people themselves pollute the air, the water and the soil. People have caught lots of diseases as a result of pollution. Finally, this problem needs an urgent solution to help people live a healthy and comfortable life.

5- The Olympic Games

The Olympic Games take place every four years. The international committee chooses the country that hosts the games on its land. Countries compete to get that honour for several reasons. In addition to the great reputation the country acquires on the political side, it becomes wonderfully touristy. Thousands of players and their supporters, reporters, cameramen and news agents visit the country. Many arrangements are to be made to meet the requirements of such huge numbers of visitors. Big hotels and restaurants are to be set up. New wide roads are paved. Immense stadiums for all types of games are founded. Sometimes, an "Olympic City" is established outside the capital.

6- A person you respect ( admire )

I respect my grandmother. Her whole life has been a complete struggle. She refused to give up hope, she was able to raise three boys with little or no help. My grandmother's strength and determination never ceased to amaze me. She was determined to raise her kids the right way. Although she had a hard time she rarely showed it.




7- The job I would like to do

My great aspiration is to become a physician (doctor).

In order to be able to join the Faculty of Medicine, I must acquire a very high score in the secondary school certificate. This can be accomplished through a great persistence and strenuous efforts. Learning in the Faculty of Medicine is no easy job. In addition to the different subjects I have to master, there is the practical side which needs a lot of skill. The main function of a physician is to treat his patients and to help them overcome their diseases. Finally, I think I shall enjoy my hard work, will my dream come true? I hope so.

- يفضل البعد عن الترجمة الحرفية . وعليك صياغة القطعة بأسلوب أفضل لغويا وذلك من خلال كلمات أو تعبيرات تضيف للمعنى بلاغة دون اخلال بروح القطعة

1- No doubt that languages are means ofcommunication among people and countries. Knowing foreign

languages enables us to talk to talk to foreigners and

understand them when they talk to us.

2- The value of a nation is measured by its number

of scientists, poets, musicians and men of letters it educated. Those people are our real history and

heritage.

3- Newspapers are important means of information. They carry us local news as well as world news and

they keep us in touch with current events of the world.

4- Students of foreign languages need a dictionary.

The dictionary usually gives the meaning of a word

and sometimes it gives translations of phrases and

sentences.

5- Education is the basis for progress for people

and countries. Hence, the government does its

best to spread education among people.

6- If anyone works hard, he will increase his income

and enjoy a high standard of living. Working hard

helps him to gain money necessary for him.

7- Camp life teaches young people to depend on

themselves and acquire valuable experience.

Moreover, in camps people enjoy the open air

22- In summer, it is the habit of almost everyone to go

away for a holiday. There are many kinds of resorts,

but perhaps the most popular are the seaside and the

23- It's important to take care of the world around us. If

we destroy the environment, our children won't be

able to enjoy it. Our heritage is very valuable.

24- People who practice sport then suddenly stop it, are

likely to have health problems especially heart attacks.

25- If you break your friend's video, you should

93- لقد وهب الله الأنسان العقل وهو أكثر تعقيدا من أقوى كمبيوتر فى العالم.
94- يعتبر الكمبيوتر أحد عجائب العالم الحديث.
95- للأختراعات الحديثة الكثير من المزايا كما أن لها بعض العيوب.
96- تلعب الصحافة دورا هاما فى تكوين الوعى القومى.
97- نحن نبحث عن السلام من أجل رفاهية وسعادة للأنسان .
98- يجب أن نستغل كل مواردنا الطبيعية .
99- ينتج عن الأمية والبطالة أنتشار الجريمة.
100- على رجال الأعمال المساهمة فى أنشاء المشروعات.
