GAZA CITY: The Israeli Prisons Authority has published a list of the names of the Palestinian prisoners who are likely to be released on Monday night as part of the third batch approved by the Israeli ministerial committee, Voice of Israel reported on Sunday.
The list includes 26 Palestinian prisoners who spent 19 to 28 years in Israeli prisons.
The list was published on the website of the Israeli Prisons Authority to enable families of Israeli victims to challenge the decision in Israeli courts, as some of those to be released have been charged for killing Israeli nationals, according to Israeli radio.
If challenges are declined by the court, the prisoners are expected to be released within 48 hours of publication of the list of names.
