Further investigations of both humans and animals indicated that it is not food which relieves tension, but rather the act of chewing. A lest showed that extremely fat people have a high sense of taste, and love more flavoured food than thin people. When deprived of the variety of tastes, extremely fat people are not satisfied and consequently eat more. To fulfill this need. Exercise has been recommended as an important pail of weight-loss programmes.
