General questions on the Spiders
1-What does the story of “The Spiders” teach us?
It teaches us 1. how the internet is important. 2. how to be a good observer. 3. how to be a good citizen. 4. how to cooperate for the good of humanity and to use modern technology.
2- Show how the Internet played an important part in the fight against the spiders.
1.It helped Ayman to communicate with Dr Shereen who helped him to identify the female spider.
2. It also helped him to get information about the medical plant “Echinacea Negra that saved Ayman’s life.
3-“Professor Malcolm Jones was very effective in the fight against the deadly spiders.” Explain.
As soon as he had learned about the big spider he travelled to Egypt with his modern equipment. He could identify the deadly spider. 2. He joined the convoy to attack the deadly spiders. 3. He got the venom, which was sent to the lab to make the antivenom of the deadly spiders.
4- The police made great efforts to fight the spiders. Explain.
1. Colonel Mikhail sent some officers, the professor and Ayman to the site to kill the spiders and bring some venom to make some antivenom. 2. They also followed the big female spider and its young spiders to kill them. 3. Some officers and the botanists Wafaa Sultan were sent to Sinai to bring the medical plant.

4.The officers wore protective clothes to protect themselves from the spiders’ bites.
5.Using high technology, doctors would make an antivenom for the black and yellow spiders’ bites.
