و الجملة هي :

والمطلوب استخدام كلمة much بدون أي تغيير في المعني

مع حذف كلمة even من الجملة

inspite doing much for him,he didnt say thank you

أعتقد الجملة مش حكاية :

Although we did much for him,he didnit say thank you
Despite/In spite of doing much for him , he didn'tsay thank you
على العموم شكراً على الجملة.

ولكن دعوني أوضح أن كلمة much المطلوب استخدامها (مع كلمات أخري طبعا) سوف تعطي نفس معني
كلمــة even التي سنحذفها من الجملة

تستخدم so much as في الجمل المنفية بمعني even


He didn't so much as say thank you after all we'd done for him

كما يمكن أيضا أن تستخدم في جملة If

If he so much as looks at another woman, I'll kill him

وهكذا يا اخواني هناك الكثير و الكثير مما لا نعلمه
وليس العيب في عدم المعرفة

for SENSE is the thing that counts as long as it's reasonable and semantically -connotative.
