متي ننطق حرف السي ( سي ) ومتي ننطقة ( كيه )

ننطق الـS..........C عندما يأتي بعدها e أو i أو y

مثل: cycle city ceiling ماعدا cello آلة التشيلو لأن أصلها ايطالي

وننطقها ........K عندما لا يأت بعدها حرف من الثلاثة السابقين مثل :
car picnic

Majority is or are?

Many words that mean a group of things — total, majority, and number, for example — can be singular or plural. Sometimes they mean the group acting as a whole, sometimes the members of a group
As with the other two-faced words, ask yourself whether you are thinking of the whole or the parts.
A little hint: The before the word (the total, the majority) is usually a tip-off that it's singular; while a (a total, a number), especially when of comes after, usually indicates a plural.

[Examples:] The majority is in charge. Still, a majority of voters are unhappy

almost & nearly

There is not usually much difference between (almost & nearly) , and we can often use both with the ame meaning.
-I've nearly / alomst finished.
sometimes almost is a little (nearer) than nearly
2-
We don't usually use (nearly) with negative words: never, nobody, nothing...
almost never / hadly ever
almost nobody/hardly anybody
almost no money / hardly any money.
