because "have got" present perfect and it changes into past perfect when it's been transformed...

لان ago هى اللى بتتحول لـ before
بس هانحط ago ازاى ؟
كدة يعنى ؟

i forgot to tell you you cant use have got if ure goinig to use ago >>>>i used once by saying:
He says to me,"I got my driving licence once"
اللي انا فاهمة ان كده هي اتسحبت منه و جابها مرة بعد كدة .. على اساس انها اتسحبت منه اكتر من مرة
