He is happy even if he is poor

السؤال حلو بس احنا لازم نفكر فيه كويس قبل ما اى حد يكتب اى اجابه يفكر فيها الاول انا رايي انها هتبقى كده
If he werent poor, he would be unhappy

ضمير ايه يا عم اللى بياخد were
ممكن كدا او كدا واضح انك ملكش فى اللغه من اصله

روح ذاكر وبعدين تعالى

Although he is poor , he is happy. ( If )
If he were rich , he might not be happy.

أنا رأيى الشرح كالتالى .
هذه حالة افتراضية. غير محتملة الحدوث فى الحاضر ( المضارع ) لذلك هنستخدم الحالة الثانية
وعلشان هى حالة افتراضية ( أو النصيحة ) يبقى كل الضمائر فى هاتين الحالتين تأخذ were
وعلشان هى فيها عدم تأكد يبقى هنستخدم فى جواب الشرط might ثم المصدر للاحتمال الضعيف
إذا الحل كالاتى
If he were rich, he might be unhappy.
