الاجابة الأولى فى الفصل الثالث عندما رأى البروفيسور إسم Arne محفور على صخرة عند الثلاث فتحات وهذه الاجابة الادق وذلك لان السؤال واضح وهو متى مخاوفه و شكوكه اختفت ؟ وليس متى قرر أن يستمر فى الرحلة
والاجابة الثانية فى الفصل الخامس وهى الأضعف عندما وجدوا الماء فى الممر الغربى . وذلك لأن ايجاد الماء جعله شغوف لإكمال الرحلة . بمعنى أن الماء قد يكون أزال خوفه من الموت ولكن .... ما علاقة الماء بالشكوك
