السلام عليكم الكلمتين بنفس المعنى ولا داعي للحيرة لأن الفرق بينهما ضعيف جداً . فكلمة path تُعني بالعربية " ممر " وقد يكون هذا الممر على سطح الأرض كطريق في جبل أو غابة أو صحراء صـ 19 في القصة السطر 11 At the side of the path . وأنظرى للصورة في الصفحة المقابلة لترى الممر . ويُمكن أن تأتي ايضاً بمعني " ممر بين الناس " كما تخلى الشُرطة الممرات بين الناس في الزحام للمباريات أو المظاهرات وغيرها . وعندما تسيرين في أى طريق فإن الفراغ الذى امامك والذي ستمرين منه يُسمى " path " أما كلمة " passage " فهى تُعنى " ممر له حوائط يصل بين غرفتين " أو تُعني قطعة من حديث أو قطعة مكتوبة . وإذا نظرت في صـ 26 أخر سطر Here it divided into two paths وفي صـ 27 السطر 4 through this narrow passage . لاحظي أنه استخدم paths عندما تحدث عن الممرين واستخدم passage عندما تحدث عن واحد من الممرين ايضاً . إذن الكلمتان لهما نفس المعنى في هذا الموضع . ولا فرق بينهما .مثلما نقول happy أو glad فالاثنان بمعنى مسرور . يارب تكوني مسرورة بالإجابة ووصلت الفكرة . وبالتوفيق إن شاء الله . |
