:

* My father's car is the one which I asked the mechanic to repair.

* My father's car was asked by me to be repaired by the mechanic.


* My fathers owns the car that I asked the mechanic to repair.

Note that examiner wants you to use My Father not My Father's


so I suggest that the answer should be:

My father had his car repared at the mechanic's.

I think neither of them maintains the same meaning as the original one for the following reasons:
* My father's car is the one which I asked the mechanic to repair.
In this sentence the speaker knows that the addresse (the listener) has more than one car in mind, so the speakers is trying to specify which one of them he is talking about by using "is the one which I asked the mechanic to repair.". That's why he uses a defining relative clause.

* My father's car was asked by me to be repaired by the mechanic.
The second sentence is grammatically not correct. The mechanic is the one who was asked not the car. Verb ask here is not used in the same meaning of "demand". "Ask" here means "to put a question to someone, or to request an answer from someone ". So the object of the verb here must be "someone" not the car.

* My fathers owns the car that I asked the mechanic to repair.

The last sentence here assumes that the listener has asked the speaker about the owner of the car the speaker asked the mechanic to repair.
This sentence could be logical in the follwing mini-dialogue
Listener: Who owns the car that you asked the mechanic to repair?
Speaker: My fathers owns the car that I asked the mechanic to repair.

therefore I think the answer should be
My father wanted to have his car repaired so I asked the mechanic to do so

سؤال لو طالب مش بيعرف يحفظ بشكل جيد ماذا نفعل لتنميه مهاره الحفظ عنده؟
انا عن نفسى باقول للطالب لو مطلوب متك تحفظ 70 كلمه فى الاسبوع مش تحفظهم كلهم فى يوم واحد لكن قسمهم على عدد ايام الاسبوع كل يوم احفظ 10 كلمات وتانى يوم تراجع على الكلمات القديمه وتحفظ الجديد وهكذا واجعل يوم الجمعه للمراجعه فقط وليس لحقظ الجديد وكمان باقول للطالب احفظ الكلمه فى جمله بسيطه
اريد ان اعرف كيف يشجع الزملاء طلابهم على الحفظ

لي سؤال بسيط وارجو من الجميع ان يتفهموا ما ساقول
عند تحضير اي منهج جديد نقوم بتحضير كل الكلمات الجديدة وحروف الجر الخ
ولكن المعروف ان اللغة واسعة جدا ومن الممكن ان يكتب الفرد منا الكثير من فنيات اللغة من خلال قطعة صغيرة موجودة في الكتاب
وما اعنيه هو ان " هل كل ماتاتي عليه اعيننا نضعه للطالب ؟ اليس هناك حدود معينة؟ اعرف ان حضراتكم لكم خبرة كبيرة في جميع المناهج ولكن لماذا لا نتقيد بما يحتاجه واضع الكتاب للطالب على سبيل المثال في الوحدة 7 نجد الاخوة الاعزاء يشرحون الفرق بين ( put on و wear و dress ) وفي مذكرات اخرى لا يشرحون ذلك فما هو المعيار لوضع ما يحتاجه الطالب؟

"wouldn't you" here is not a question tag. It is a real question. The speaker wants to ask the second person if he would say the same thing>
In stead of saying: "Wouldn't you say that modern farming makes more money than organic farming?" , he used a short form. Or you can consider it a mixture of both a normal question and a question tag.

In the same way: We can say:
I can climb that high mountain, can't you?
Ahmed will come with us, won't you?

If I`m not mistaken this sentence was rewritten in the new edition. It`s on TG p.180 (New Edition from Longman`s official site of Hello).
