SO , if it is omitted , there won't be main verb
So , the answer is surely " Were "

first the answer is were
were+ sub+adj-----------sub. +would+verb
ex: Were I a bird, I would fly.
. so : Were + the flat I had+ large enough-------------I wouldn't sell it

وبالعربى يا اخوانا دى بدائل if لأن were بديل فى الثانية اللى هى موضوع الجملة لكن للاسف اللى عامل اشكال فى الجملة

ويكون بكده أصل الجملة If the (flat I had) were large enough , I wouldn't sell it
فحذفت If لتحل محلها were وخلاص حسام عفيفى

Note
all those who give answers to such questions should give the due care....
If the answer " if " or if only comes from a student , so he / she has an excuse as he is still a student
. "If the answer " if " or if only comes from a teacher he or she must think deeply before giving an answer as he simply affects The students' opinion badly deliberately
