lake is another mistake and I think in the model answer it will be width because the noun of large is width and we can't use length. Anyway thank you for the feedback

Thank you for the feedback. You are right to use "did we hear if we don't have "had we heard" as past perfect may be used with the action which happened first :)

But to to be honest the examiner should have avoided confusion by not using "did you hear in the choices given
