لاحظنا فى الامثلة السابقة ان هذا النوع من الاسئلة هو الذى يأتى فى نهاية الجملة الخبرية و يتكون من الفعل المساعد و الضمير و اذا كانت الجملة مثبتة فان السؤال يكون منفى و العكس .

الحالات الشاذة

-I'm………………….,aren't I?

-I'm not…………….,am I?

-Let's………………..,shall we? (SUGGESTION)

-Let(me,us,her,him,them..)…………..,will you?

لاحظوا أن الكلمات الآتية تنفى الجملة و لذلك فسؤالها مثبت:

(neither,no,none,no one,nobody, nothing, scarcely, barely, hardly ever, seldom)

-None of your friends liked the film, did they?

عندما يكون فاعل الجملة

no one/nobody/anybody/anyone/none/neither/everybody/)

everyone/somebody/someone)

يكون الضمير فى السؤال

(THEY)

-I don't suppose anyone will volunteer, won't they?

-None of the bottles are broken, are they?

-Neither of them complained, did they?

عندما يكون فاعل الجملة

(Nothing)

يكون الضمير فى السؤال

(It)

-Nothing was said, was it?

فى حالة الامر المثبت أو الطلب

-Wait here,( can you?) OR (could you?

فى حالة الامر المنفى

-Don't make any noise, will you?

خلى بالك من اختصارات ('s)

-Nehal's coming tomorrow, isn't she?

-Yomna's heard the news, hasn't she?

و برضه خلى بالك من اختصارات('d)

-Esraa'd come if you asked her, wouldn't she?

-Omneya'd leave early, wouldn't she?

-You'd better change your wet shoes , hadn't you?

-You'd rather leave by air, wouldn't you?

يجب أن يكون السؤال المنفى مختصرا حتى لا يتغير الترتيب:

-You saw Menna, didn't you?

-You saw Menna, did you not?
