Samira Musa was an Egyptian nuclear scientist who held a doctorate in atomic radiation and worked to make the medical use of nuclear technology affordable to all. She was born in 1917.
She graduated from the Faculty of Science. She turned down several offers that required her to live in the United States and to be granted the American citizenship saying "Egypt, my dear homeland, is waiting for me

كانت سميرة موسى عالمة نووية مصرية . قامت بعمل دكتوراه في الإشعاعات النووية و عملت على جعل الاستخدام الطبي للتكنولوجيا النووية متاح ماديا للجميع.
ولدت سميرة موسى عام 1917, وتخرجت في كلية العلوم . رفضت عروض للاقامة في الولايات المتحدة و الحصول على الجنسية الأمريكية قائلة "مصر, بلدي الحبيبة, تنتظرني".
