الاختياري للجملة الاولي هو wear out
الاختياري للجملة الثانية هو (historical)

in my opinion it is history writers
you can say it like that (the writers of history)

history
ترتبط باى شىء او شخص يدرس التاريخ او يكتبه
وفى هذه الحاله ياتى بعدها اسم
مثلا
ahitory book
ahistory lesson
ahistory writer
وذلك بعد رجوعى الى بعض المصادر
المتخصصة فى شرح الفروق بين الكلمات

من رأيى أن الاجابة هى wore down بمعنى يضعف
history writer بمعنى كاتب للتاريخ
