الحل الصحيح هو rather لأن معناها instead of

أود أن أشارك سيادتكم في هذا الموضوع وهذا رأى المتواضع وأتمنى أن أكون على صواب Other than مقارنة بين اثنين والفاعل يقبل الأول ولكنة يقبل الثاني أكثر Rather thanمقارنة بين اثنين والفاعل يرفض الأول و يقبل الثاني بدلا منه وعلى ذلك تكون الإجابة (other)مع شكري وتقديري لكم جميعا مدرس غلبان Khairy fawzy |

rather than is the correct answer. you make a choice here. you use other than to mean in addition to, but here he uses the verb ' prefer ' to make a choice
