or
i have drunk three cups of tea this morning

i think it's present prefect because he is talking about numbers here
but i found the answer past simple
i drank three cups of tea this morning

it depends my dear if it is still morning or at the end of the day

that's true it depens
but as the number is mentioned without using one of the tense indicators of the past
it's better to use the present perfect

i went through all the units in the book and found the sentence
present prefec in the teacher's guide
so the Bazzar book made a mistake
i know it's unintended
but i was eally confused epecially in nowadays before the exam
not only i but also every teacher needs a decisive answer
