Aims of Teachimg English as a foreign language
 

I want of experienced and skilled teachers to put some of the aims of teaching english as a foriegn language for Primary, Preparatory and Secondary stages

I'm Not a Teacher .. But i Have 1 Of This Aims .. I think to Make Our Students Able To Communicate With Foriegns

General Aims of Teaching English in Secondary Schools

1.To enable students to communicate orally or in writing.

2.To understand foreign culture and to convey theirs to others .

3.To keep up with some of the latest scientific, literary and technological findings .

4. To maintain, consolidate and develop the English language skills already initiated at the basic stage.

5.To develop the ability to communicate orally and in everyday language and to read intensively
With a reasonable speed.



Specific Aims of Teaching English in Secondary Schools

1.To equip students with the necessary language and study skills to communicate effectively and

To understand spoken and written English completely .

2.To give students the necessary experience and confidence to apply these skills both inside and

Outside the classroom and beyond school in their current and future lives .

3.To practice new language skills and topics thoroughly.

4.To support the learning of the language through critical thinking skills and awareness of

strategies to improve language and learning skills .

5.To practice language functions in which grammar is carefully controlled .
