الاجابة هي..
the match was cancelled
ده لأننا اذا استخدمنا التركيب ده : "It (be)+ p.p." نتبعه ب " that " ثم باقي الجملة كما هي ..
فالجملة أصلها...
The people reported that the match was cancelled>
فالحل يكون...
It was reported that the match was cancelled.
والله اعلم...

كما ذكر LOVERHISH
الاجابة الصحيحة هنا was caceled
لان اصل الجملة كما تفضل الزميل وذكر
The people reported that the match was cancelled
لذا اذا استخدمنا It was reported that the match was canceled.
ولكن نلاحظ اذا قلنا
The match was reported to be canceled or to have been canceled
وهناك ملحوظة اخرى هل نضاعف حرف l ام لا canceled ام cancelled
فى الانجليزى البريطانى نضاعف l اما الامريكى لا نضاعف فالافضل نستخدم البريطانى وشكرا
