الجملة خطأ أو غير كاملة فيمكن أن تكون

إذا كانت الجملة بدون to

إذا كانت فى صيغة حوار بين أنواع مختلفة من الأثاث و أنت تفضل الخشبى مثلا عن المعدنى أو البلاستيكى .

your question is somewhat ambiguous
generally , furniture is non countable noun

The correct answer is either :
I prefer wooden furniture (without any article ) because the speaker talks generally about what he feels.
Or :
I prefer the wooden furniture because the speaker is doing some shopping at a furniture shop and speaks to the shopkeeper.
