Choose the correct answer

My pen friend, who lives in Sweden, is studying biology at university. This sentence means

I have

a) one pen friend b) many pen friends

c) Swedish pen friends d) no pen friends

one penfriend as the verb is singular

many pen friends
لأنه حدد بلده ليميزه عن غيره من باقى أصدقئه الكثر.
والله أعلى و أعلم

b) many pen friends
i'm a teacher and i'm sure as he means the one who lives in ..... so there are some other friends

اكيد many pen friends

لانه عبر جمله الوصل وضح معلومات تخص الصديق ده بعينه
عن اناس آخرين

بغرض التمييز

زي مثلا
my brother Ahmed,who lives in Canada,is a doctor.

الجمله الي فوق دي مش معناها اني ليا اخ واحد بل اني ببلغ معلومات زياده للإيضاح مش اكتر مع اني مثلا عندي اخوات تانيين

Using non-defining relative clause means that the friend is known and this means that he has only one friend.
But if the sentence is written without commas like this:

My pen friend who lives in Sweden is studying biology at university
In this case the relative clause is defining and it means he has many pen friends, but here he is talking only about the Swedish one.
So the answer is: a) one pen friend

this answer is fully right because there is difference between distinctive sentence & indistinctive sentence
