I`ve checked it again and found out that it is correct just as Mr.Ahmed had said. Whether we used there or not, this doesn`t mean that we correct a sentence that is already correct.

what about replacing "gone" with " turned"

لو كان هذا (الذى رأيته أمس مثلا) كسوف لأظلمت السماء
