what is the passive of this sentence:
 

Dogs are frightening animals for me .

Dogs are to be afraid of by me

dogs frightened me

the animals that can be frightening to me are dogs

dogs are feared by me

Dogs are feared by me

I'm frightened of dogs as animals

the sentence has no passive at all because it has already had v. to be and i think it is a really tough joke from the teacher writing this kind of sentences and most of the answers are not correct thats because our dear teachers are looking for the an aswer without knowing that the sentence itself can't be changed into passive but if you want the answer it is all right

I'm scared of dogs
I'm trified of dogs

I'm sorry but even your answers aren't correct because this statement hasn't a passive as you said. It is a descriptive statement so it hasn't got a real object!!!

الجملة خطأ

لايمكن تحويل الجملة عموما الى مبنى للمجهول لان فعل الجملة هو v. to be و الذى لايمكن تحويله الى مبنى للمجهول

i`m with mr yaccoub v to be is never changed into passive . all the attempts are description to keep the meaning but not passive thnx all
