 Objectives of Teaching Eng. As a Foreign Language in the Primary Cycle.
 The objectives of teaching English in the Primary Cycle (فى المرحلة الابتدائية are intended to يقصد بها familiarize the pupils with the language أن يألف الطلاب اللغة(orally and in writing) شفهيا وتحريريا in a stress-free خال من التوتر and fun-loaded ومفعم بالمرح atmosphere جو to prepare them لإعدادهم for more demanding tasks in the subsequent stages. لمهام مطلوبة فى المراحل التالية
 Below is the general statement of the performance objectives of teaching English as a foreign language in grades one, two, three, four, five & six in the primary Cycle in terms of language skills for convenience.
 وفيما يلى أهداف الآداء فى الصفوف المختلفة من المرحلة الابتدائية فى صورة مهارات.
 Aims:
1 – To assure that تأكيد أن learning English is easy تعلم الانجليزية أمر سهل while developing وتطوير a child’s enthusiasm حماس الطفل for, and the desireورغبته to learn a new language. فى تعلم لغة جديدة (غير لغته)
2 – To develop positive learning habitsإكساب التلميذ عدات إيجابية للتعلم such as turn taking,مثل الالتزام بالدور organizational skills,مهارات تنظيمية and cooperative learning. والتعلم الجماعي
3 – To enlarge children’s horizons توسيع آفاق التلميذ so that they become familiar with different cultures بحيث يألف الثقافات الأخرى while developing an understanding of their own. وفهم ثقافتهم الخاصة
4 – To experience language awareness in terms of how English works and differs from Arabic. ممارسة اللغة بشكل يختلف عن اللغة العربية
5 – To enable childrenتمكين التلاميذ to communicate simply but effectively على التواصل بشكل مبسط ولكن بفعالية through the development of oral proficiency in English. عن طريق تطوير إجادة القدرة الشفهية على استخدام اللغة
6 – To lay solid foundations for the development of literacy skills in English. ترسيخ وتطوير مهارات القراءة والكتابة بالإنجليزية
