Need another opinion
 

Find the mistake:
The rural environment was having a possessive effect on children's life.

In this sentence I changed (was having) into (has) as I see the prioroty for the grammer not for the vocabulary, and I took possessive with the meaning of إستحواذي
I want to know If this sentence come in an exam, do I have to change the grammer into (has) or the vocabulary from(possessive) into positive.
I need another opinion.

rural ======> urban

اعتقد انتي صح , لان التاثير لسه موجود

IN my opinion 'The rural environment has a possessive effect on children's life
لأن has لايوضع في الأزمنه المستمره اذا كان بمعني يمتلك
