you are talking here about something in general " that he is agood player not this year particularly so the answer is will.
but study this example "he studies hard this year, i think he is going to pass his exams."

AbuAliMrSafwat 11-05-2012 09:03 PM

This sentence is a predictions so the answer is "will"

الدليل شيء ظتهر للعين علي وشك الحدوث

ebiooooooo 02-06-2012 10:59 PM

اتفق معك انه تنبؤ قائم على دليل ولكن الجملة تحتمل التوقع ولذلك ارى انها تحتمل الاجابتين

magic461 06-06-2012 05:15 PM

the word good may describe another skill so the answer is will

Mr Mostafa Goda 06-06-2012 08:27 PM

will is the correct answer , here is a prediction based on our personal knowledge of this person ,but the evidence should be present reality

mans.a.a 07-06-2012 08:05 AM

In both cases, the preferred future form is will. These are talking about a prediction based on my knowledge.

mans.a.a 07-06-2012 08:07 AM

I think he will succeed as he is studying hard. I think he will have an accident. He is a careless driver. Which is more correct: “will” or “is going to

In both cases, the preferred future form is will. These are talking about a prediction based on my knowledge

mans.a.a 07-06-2012 08:22 AM

The preferred future form is will. It is talking about a prediction based on my knowledge

mr hussien 18-12-2012 07:39 AM

will not going to

khalil Nasr 30-12-2012 10:11 PM

Both are correct English but according to the Egyptian genius style will is better as he is a student , there must be an exam ,he might not attend
the exam for example

You know what the problem is : they laugh a lot when we talk about such things here in America .....these are just Egyptian superstitions for private lessons .... here te most important is communication skills and usind the appropriate tense .
