Day 1 of the competition
Hi everybody :), Here we go for our competition The questions won't be too complex,considering that there're different grades of English here .. Everybody here know that skills of English are four: listening,speaking,reading and writing So I want this quiz to include all these skills But I think it's hard for most of us to listen as we didn't train on that at our schools :unsure:...and as we're in a forum that we communicate together by writing then it's impossible to include the speaking skill ^_^. I'll start with writing.. Through __________, green plants create organic materials with the help of chlorophyll. 2. The coastal city gets half of its __________ during the months of January, February, and March. 3. Farmers use various methods of land __________. 4. When they heard the hull cruck, all but two of the sailors __________ ship. 5. If it's correct what's the meaning of it?? ....... God-willing,tomorrow we shall appeal with the reading section Note: :excl: * The questions may be difficult for some of us but if so you can search for its answers by your own and write it here (anyway they are quite few) * WE should always remember the objective of this quiz is not only compete with each other but also to enjoy and learn. But I have a note of the "Do as it's shown in the brackets" question Think of it again And about the last question..It's still not solved About the sentence"The coastal city gets half of its precipitation during the months of January, February, and March." its meaning is that the amount of the rain falling in this coastal city in January February, and March is the half of the aggregate amount..I think Good luck and thank you for sharing |
