you are right , sir
but i disagree with you in the point concerning mini dialogue
the students are supposed to guess the meaning of the new words after reading well

أرجوا مراجعة ما تم ذكره في النقد المقدم من حضرتك بخصوص استخدام كلمة conduct في المنهج حيث أنني راجعت الصفحات المذكورة ولم أصل إلى شيء:
conduct a survey (SB P.5)
conduct research (TG P. 352)

conduct is often used with such words as

orchestra / experiment/concert/ tour / business / interview / investigation / search
