سؤال هام mistake

the poem must learn by heart
هل تكون
must be learnt
ام
must be taught

I agree with my teacher Mr. Gawad but modestly I think both are correct because the poem can be learned or taught by heard which means accurately but if we are talking about the process of memorization the sentence should be: The poem must be kept by heart
Do you agree with me sir?

get / learn / know something by heart means from memory
The answer is : learn by heart

must be learnt by heart
but
must be taught

أجاد اساتذي الكرام الرد علي السؤال ولكن فقط احب ان اضيف الاتي عسي ان ينفع به الله احدا :
by heart(Br.E/Am.E)=off by heart(Br.E) هذه العبارة ما هي الا عبارة اصطلاحية‏/تعبير اصطلاحي an idiom ولكن نحويا هي شبه جملة ظرفية adverbial phrase بمعني : Using only one's memory وتستخدم هذه العبارة مع الافعال know/keep/learn بنفس معني الفعل memorise (مع العلم بان معني الفعل learn - وفقط هذا الفعل - بدون العبارة by heart كافيا لاداء معني الفعل memorise)ولكن استخدام هذه العبارة مع الفعل teach يكاد يكون غريبا لانه اذا كان التعبير by heart تعبيرا اصطلاحيا فانه ياتي في استخدام محدود ومع افعالا معينة فقط وليس منها teach او study علي سبيل المثال ،ولسنا نحن من نتحكم في الاستخدام ولكنه ينطبق علينا كمتعلمين اجانب EFL learners وحتي المتعلمين اصحاب اللغة native learners of English وفي النهاية آمل ان اكون اسهمت ولو بنسبه قليلة في إيصال وجهة نظري وجعلها اكثر وضوحا وبناءا علي ما ذكرت فالحل هو must be learned وليس must be taughtمُطلقا(اقصد مع التعبير by heart)......سبحان الله وبحمده سبحان الله العظيم.

I agree with all my friends as it must be "will be learnt by heart".
