So, why didn`t Alexander put OTHERS as one of the correct choices, and included it among the WRONG WORDS for this sentence???

I don't know why he didn't put "others" as one of the correct choices. To me, language is a matter of sense. Therefore, I think that either choice is correct as Dr Alan put it in his reply to my question.
