It provides students the opportunity to develop leadership skills and serves as a focal point for developing a feeling of professionalism through meeting industry representatives.CUSC (Cairo University Student Chapter):One of AAPG student chapters from 145 chapters around the world.In Egypt our board represents the AAPG in Cairo University under the supervision of selected supervisor.Our student chapter supervisor is DR. Ahmed Neyazi el-Barkooky the responsible of AAPG in Middle East& North Africa.We aim to develop the role of geosciences in petroleum industry by developing our selves as the careers developed, be helpful, ambitious & useful.We need to be qualified for different work fields not only by faculty courses but also by our activities…Our student chapter board has been elected in nov.2007 many different activities have been departed (field trips, presentations, courses &……) to our members &our department colleges under super vision of experts in companies& professors in our department
