You say after during we can use v.=ing or noun I think we can use noun please give examples of using v.ing after it.

During the showing of the movie, I fell asleep. (a little awkward, but grammatically correct)
As you see using a gerund after during is grammatically correct, but using a noun is far much better and more accurate.
