( university , unit . European....) the first sound of these words is not a consonant as you have said ,but it is a semi-vowel /j/ which is pronounce as the letter (y) at the begininning of words as ( you/yes/yet....). And as we know that there are only two semi-vowels in english ( /w/ and /j/ )
