كما ذكرت حروف الهجاء هى ALGORISM كما ذكرت فى المرجع قاموس الياس العصرى عربى انجليزى
وبالرجوع للقاموس نجد الاتى

1-the Arabic system of numerals ,decimal system of counting.
2-the act or skill of computing with any kind of numerals.

b-the repetitive calculations used in finding the greatest common divisor of two numbers
c-a predetermined set of instructions for solving a specific problem in a limited number of steps

ملحوظه : تلك الكلمه algorism جاءت من اسم الخوارزمى العربى الذى كان له باع طويل فى تاسيس علم الحساب(الرياضيات)
