You can be polite by
1- talking in a gentle and flexible manner.
2- obeying parents , teachers and the older .
3- following the instructions of our gracious prophet Muhammed ( peace be upon him ) .
4- acting in a civilized way .
5- dealing with people in a delicate behaviour , even non-muslims .
6- forgiving others ,even if they insult you .
7- lending a hand to whom you see are in hot water
And so on
